Is Teen Dating Good?

Dating has become open for all sorts of people from different races and ages. It is just so amazing how it transcends to people all over the world with just one click of a button through the internet. Let us focus ourselves to teen dating, it’s disadvantages and advantages if there are.

The main purpose of teen dating is to make teens from all over the world get connected and make friends with each other. They share their young ideologies and experiences online and hopes that they can be comforted if they have problems. This is their way to escape reality and go to virtual world where they can be who they really are.

But when we look at the second word in teen dating, that would raise some eyebrows since young people are not supposed to be in love for such a tender age. Based on our culture, it dictates that loving someone on a romantic level requires a level of maturity that teen don’t have yet. But as hard headed as we are when we were teens, they also tend to break the rules, commit mistakes along the way and learn from them. I guess that is the way we grew up and that will be their way too.

Being a thinking adult, I can say that teen dating will be good just as long as there is guidance still from the parents of the ones involved. There is this so called “puppy love” so we can be assured that dating is not that serious as compared to dating between adults. Teen dating becomes bad when it is already uncontrollable, too much emotions being invested resulting to unexpected events in the end. It will all then boils down to the proper guidance coming from their parents.
